Are these prices transport-only?
Yes. The amounts shown are transport-only per car from CMB/Colombo (up to 3 guests). Tickets, activities and meals are paid directly by guests.
What’s included in transport?
Private car/van with English-speaking driver, fuel, parking, tolls, driver’s meals and taxes.
Airport pickup or Colombo hotel — is there a price difference?
No difference for these day trips. We’ll pick you up from CMB or your city hotel at the same transport price shown.
How long are your day trips?
Most are 6–8 hours. Longer options (Kandy, Galle, Sigiriya) can be 8–10+ hours depending on traffic and time at sites.
Can we customize the plan?
Absolutely. Tell us your interests (food, history, nature, photography) and we’ll adjust the pacing and stops.
Do you include entrance tickets?
No. We keep the base price low and transparent. Each tour page lists typical ticket costs and a small calculator where relevant.
What start time do you recommend?
For nearby trips, 9:00–10:00 works well. For long-day routes (Kandy, Galle, Sigiriya), start by 6:00–7:00 for cooler weather and lighter traffic.
Do you provide child seats?
Yes on request (free, subject to availability). Please confirm ages/weights when booking.
Can we travel with big luggage from the airport?
Yes. Tell us your bag count; we’ll assign the right vehicle. You can combine the day trip with a city drop at the end.
How do we pay?
Cash in LKR/USD to the driver, or request an online invoice (Wise/Card/PayPal). Free date change where possible.
What if it rains?
We still operate most tours; we’ll reshuffle outdoor/indoor stops, add umbrellas in the car, and discuss a safer beach/boardwalk alternative if seas are rough.
Is there a dress code for temples?
Cover shoulders and knees; remove hats/shoes inside temple areas. Scarves/sarongs are handy.
Can seniors or kids manage the walks?
Yes—these are flexible days. We add shade breaks, shorter stair options, and easier viewpoints on request.
Do you expect tips?
Tips are optional. If you’re happy with the day, LKR 1,500–3,000 for the driver is a common range.
Can we cancel or change the date?
Flexible date change whenever possible. For cancellations, please tell us as early as you can so we can release the driver.
